Visual health depends not only on seeing well but on maintaining the eye in functional balance. At CeMPE we understand the importance of early diagnosis to prevent pathologies such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, or refractive defects.
Each check-up includes a detailed examination of the eye and the structures involved in vision, in order to detect even the subtlest alterations before they become serious problems.
At CeMPE, each visual check-up is adapted to the age and history of each patient. We recommend periodic annual or semi-annual check-ups depending on the case, especially in people with risk factors (diabetes, high myopia, family history of glaucoma, or over 40 years old).
Our team combines diagnostic precision, cutting-edge technology, and close attention to guarantee a complete, effective, and comfortable medical experience.
How often should I have an eye check-up?
In healthy adults, an annual check-up is recommended. In patients with eye diseases or risk factors, every six months or as indicated by the doctor.
Can I detect an eye disease on my own?
Not always. Many eye pathologies develop without obvious symptoms. Periodic check-ups are essential to detect them in time.
Should children be checked too?
Yes. At CeMPE we perform pediatric visual checks to detect problems such as myopia, hyperopia, or amblyopia (lazy eye) from early stages.
Thanks to early detection and continuous follow-up, our patients enjoy stable vision and better quality of life. At CeMPE we encourage prevention as the best treatment.
